Improved Health & Wellbeing

This category encompasses a range of support services and activities that can help individuals with disabilities achieve and maintain better health outcomes and overall wellbeing. Including exercise or diet advice to manage the impact of your disability. The NDIS does not fund gym memberships. Some of the services and activities that fall under this category may include:
  • Specialised personal training can help participants with disabilities develop and maintain mobility or wellbeing
  • Exercise physiologist implement safe and effective exercise programs that address the individual’s specific needs and goals.
  • A dietary plan developed with the help of a registered Dietician can ensure that you are getting the necessary nutrients and energy to support your overall health and well-being.
  • Maintain or increase your physical mobility or wellbeing if that is limited by your disability
